Inspired by 1960s Italian lighting, Lina is an all-brass lighting system designed to create airy geometric fixtures. Each welded brass sphere joins with solid brass tubing and minimal fastener hardware to form strikingly simple hanging fixtures and wall mounts. The series’ modular construction system allows the studio to explore a variety of Lina shapes and sizes, lending it much versatility for custom projects. Each piece is made to order and assembled in Brooklyn, NY.

Rosie Li Studio forgoes traditional lamp design for aesthetics and building systems driven by science and abstract mathematics, constructing fixtures using modular parts with pared-down forms. This adaptability allows light fixtures to achieve a sculptural quality by consciously responding to their environments and seamlessly integrating into the surrounding space. Founders designer Rosie Li and engineer Philip Watkins combine precise craftmanship with a rigorous design process, favoring a reductive approach and plain-spoken materials. Their fresh takes on modular sculptural lighting are contemporary and endlessly changing.
