The notched table is a minimal form in honed Carrera marble and oak, detailed with a single extrusion. This table is an exploration in the relationship between foundation and surface. By interrupting the continuity of the smooth marble with the form of the leg’s profile recreated, the user is made aware of the table’s construction by experiencing it in a tactile interaction.
