Grain X Grit Stooble' (Stool x End Table)

'The Stooble' is cross between a stool and an end table that is both functionally and aesthetically flexible. The trough beneath the Stooble's surface is perfect for storing and displaying books, oddities, and accent pieces alike.

To accommodate the more practical sitter who would prefer to use the piece's surface as a seat, we added an angled walnut slab beneath the trough to serve as a conveniently-placed footrest.

The 'Grain X Grit' Series by THISLEXIK assumes the form of our 'Bond Series', but rejects the latter’s message. Rather than allowing its pieces to blend into their surrounding environment or rely on aesthetic accents, the Grain X Grit series instead opts to emphasize walnut’s weighty grain, smooth finish, and natural blonde highlights. Each piece’s sophisticated yet visually simple design brings out the hardwood’s soft-spoken yet striking natural qualities, imbuing the surrounding environment with an inviting, approachable warmth. It is a contemporary expression that both comes from and belongs to nature.
