Description

Sorapot is a simple, minimalist teapot made from stainless steel and glass.

Designed to brew loose-leaf teas, Sorapot’s entire volume is available for the leaves to unfurl as they steep. Investment Cast, Hand Finished.

Investment casting is the most precise and also the most ancient metal casting process. It’s ideal for designs that have flowing, organic shapes, from jewelry to turbine blades to modern teapots. After coming from the foundry, skilled polishers bring each Sorapot to a brushed satin finish by hand.

Open Brew Chamber: The Sorapot was designed to brew loose-leaf teas. Oolong and Pu-erh teas are our favorites, but Sorapot works just as well with green, white and black teas. The Sorapot’s entire glass brew chamber is available for the leaves to unfurl as they brew. When the tea infusion has finished steeping, the fine mesh filter keeps the leaves in while allowing the tea to pour out.

Simple Cleaning: When Sorapot is open, the borosilicate glass tube detaches from the stainless steel arch for cleaning. The filter is also accessible in this position, and used leaves are easily rinsed off. All pieces are dishwasher safe.
